This year we celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, a crucial event of World War II. Fought over British skies in the summer of 1940, the heavily outnumbered RAF fought off the German Luftwaffe, in what is now known as the Battle of Britain, and ultimately saved Britain from the imminent German invasion.
